All four involved institutions – Department of Nuclear Reactors, Department of Dosimetry and Application of Ionizing Radiation, Department of Nuclear Chemistry and Department of Information Security maintain broad cooperation with many native academic, scientific, industrial and state organisations involved in nuclear facilities operation and radioactive sources handling – nuclear power plants, intermediate spent nuclear fuel storage, permanent storage facility (such as ČEZ, ENEL-SE, Research Centre Řež, SÚRAO – Radioactive Waste Repository Authority, JAVYS, etc.); with industrial organisations which develops and manufactures components and devices for nuclear facilities (such as Škoda JS, NUVIA, VF NUCLEAR, ZAT, DataPartner, etc.); with organisations performing research and technical support of nuclear power plant operation (such as Chemcomex, ALVEL, UJP Praha, ÚJV Řež, VÚJE, etc.); and with state organisations (such as SÚJB – State Office for Nuclear Safety, SÚRO – National Radiation Protection Institute, SÚJCHBO – National Institute for Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Protection, ČMI – Czech Metrology Institute, etc.).

Apart from national cooperation, the departments cooperate also with foreign academic and scientific institutes, such as the tMiddlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey a University of Tennessee (USA), Vienna University of Technology (Austria), Institute for Transuranium Elements (Germany), etc.
